 Adult Tennis

the adult tennis program has three major areas of focus for the ultimate glcc tennis experience. the most popular program offered is cardio tennis. members love that cardio tennis gives you a great workout regardless of your tennis ability. the drop-in instructional drills are another program offered at glcc. the drills focus on each player's stroke production, along with strategy of the game. The drop-in drill runs regardless if one player drops in or 9 players. the policy will be 1 player = 30 min. private instruction, 2 players = 1 hour of instruction and 3 players or more = full 1.5 hour drill. the last area of focus for the adult program is the fun, social mixers. the friday night mixers are ran in a round robin format with drinks and food served down by the tennis courts.

Cardio Tennis 

  • june 8th - august 24th

  • Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm

  • June 10th - august 26th

  • Fridays 9:00-10:00am

  • $14 per person

Are you bored with your current workout routine & need to find a healthy new way to burn extra calories?

As seen on The Biggest Loser, cardio tennis is a great & healthy workout for everyone.  Cardio is a high-energy workout that will naturally improve your tennis skills.

This hour class will have three segments: warm-up, cardio & cool down.
 

Beginner drop-in drill

june 2nd - august 25th, thursdays
11:00 am - 12:00 pm
$17 each week

This drill is for any player who is beginning to develop their tennis game. If you have been away from tennis for years or you haven't tried tennis yet, this is the perfect drill for you. The drill will focus on correct form, footwork and it will get you comfortable with the rules and positioning on the court. 

 

Intermediate Drop-In Drill

june 2nd - august 25th, thursdays
10:00 am - 11:00 am
$17 per player

This drill is for any male or female player who can judge where the ball is going & sustain a short rally with other players of the same ability.  The drill will focus on stroke production & developing shot placement with strategy.  If you are unsure what level is right for you, contact Kelly for a personal evaluation.

 

Advanced Drop-In Drill

june 2nd - august 25th, thursdays
8:30 am - 10:00 am
$17 per player

This drill is perfect for those gentlemen & ladies who want to work on certain strokes & strategies while getting a great work out.  Live & dead ball drills will be used to enhance your current tennis games.  If you are unsure of what level is right for you, contact Kelly for a free 15 minute personal evaluation.
