All Seasons are Beautiful for the Person who carries Happiness within…
Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, Always bring your own sunshine…..   —Mark Twain

What a spectacular autumn we have had out here on Gull Lake. The trees have turned colors and are reflected in the lake, the smells of apple, cinnamon and pumpkin fill the air and we have a wonderful new fall signature drink menu for you to enjoy. Plus, do not forget the many fun events we have scheduled.

The Wine & Tapas night in September was a great success. It was wonderful to see members who had never attended come out to the club and be so delighted in this event. Kid’s Night Out is still going strong on Friday nights, which is a perfect way for the kids to enjoy themselves with crafts & games, while parents get to enjoy some one on one time or get together with others for fabulous dinner and drinks. The
Halloween party was a monstrous hit! This is my favorite party every year and it is great to see the participation from all ages! Ever

yone always has a good time. On the subject of coming out to enjoy your club, I would love to entice you with upcoming events in November and December.

The Annual Meeting is a great review of the past year and an opportunity to meet your Board of Directors. This event will be on December 5th and we encourage everyone to come out. Platform Mixers are in full swing, so check your Gull Post for dates and hours regarding these events. The month of December can be a busy one and that is why we at GLCC want to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible! Let us help by hosting or catering your Christmas Party. If this sounds like a perfect idea to you, please call Mike Rossen or myself.

If you are too busy to host a party, then come join one! The month of December is filled with wonderful parties for all ages.  The adults-only Member Christmas Party is on Saturday, December 14th with cocktails flowing at 6:30p.m. Then, just when you thought you caught your breath from the Halloween Party, we invite you back for the Kid’s Christmas Party where Mr. & Mrs. Claus happily await to greet children, take photos and make Christmas wishes come true.

The Candlelight Dinner has become my favorite event in the month of December. The Boat Bar always looks beautiful with warm white lights, a glowing fireplace and Christmas Carolers. If you have never attended, make a point to do so this year. This event does fill up fast, so make your reservations early now for Saturday, December 21st. Finally, you can’t miss the wonderful Sunday brunch buffets that fall on December 15th, 22nd, and the 29th.

Looking forward to sharing the holiday season with you.
