A Message from the President & the Manager: March & April

Winter arrived late and large this season! The good news is that because of all of the snow and cold temperatures, we were able to really utilize the course for sledding and cross-country skiing, as well as taking advantage of our ice skating rink. The snow came down just in time for our Winterfest, too, making it a fun afternoon of sledding and skating before the big evening party.

Spring is on its way now, though and with it we look forward to our upcoming Spring Membership Drive! We will be offering a referral incentive this season for anyone who signs up a new member! If you sign up a social member, you’ll receive four Greens Fee Passes or eight Beach Guest Passes; for enrolling a golf member, you’ll receive eight Greens Fee Passes or sixteen Beach Guest Passes. If you know of anyone, be they friends, neighbors or coworkers, who may be interested in joining the club, feel free to contact Mike Rossen or Chelsea Foster and take advantage of this great opportunity!

This month marks the first issue of the Gull Post in its new, all-digital form! We hope you’re as excited about this change as we are, as we’ll be able to keep you better updated with the most current information in an online, ongoing capacity. As we mentioned in the previous issue, printed copies are still available to those who would like them, so feel free to contact the office to sign up in the mailing program. We appreciate your support in this change and feel confident that it will provide you with simpler and faster access to events at the club.

Along with our new Gull Post format, we are also unveiling a new website this month! We hope that the new, updated design will help to attract new members to our community while still providing all of the services that the previous site provided. You will still have access to your member account under the “Member Central” section as well as access to an updated Roster and the Rules & Regulations for the club–this section will not change. We will simply be refreshing and modernizing the visuals for the rest of the website. If you have any questions regarding the website or member access, contact Chelsea in the office.

Finally, we would like to send out a big thank you to all of our members, who continue to make this club a fun and vibrant community. We’re looking forward to the coming months and what will hopefully be the best spring season yet!
