The Golf Staff has been working hard all winter planning, improving and creating an exciting calendar of events for the 2013 season. We are working on projects to improve the driving range and practice areas, improve communications to the membership as well as creating a more enjoyable atmosphere for members and guests alike!

The PGA tour kicked off in Hawaii right after the New Year and momentum for the game has been tremendous! New equipment such as the TaylorMade R1 and Titleist 913 Drivers have caused quite a buzz along with the new equipment from Cobra that is extremely and easily adjustable. The RocketBladez irons have been extremely popular as well; it looks like this season is going to be quite interesting as far as equipment goes. For anyone interested, yes we are currently receiving inventory and do, as always have the latest and greatest golf equipment in stock and ready to go!

After attending the PGA Show in Orlando, I have decided to bring in some different lines than I have in the past. So you will be seeing some changes in the shop as far as clothing is concerned. We have once again begun to carry the Peter Millar brand and they have a new cutting edge tech line as well as the traditional Peter Millar classic apparel. We also have some Peter Millar ladies wear! Adidas will be one of the core companies that we keep in the shop, new shoes and clothing for both women and men, the lines look great! We also purchased some new accessories and specialty lines at the PGA show and those will be coming in throughout the season as well. It should be fun!

Miami and Myself attended a custom fitting and teaching seminar at The PGA show as well and have decided to expand our custom fitting and repair capabilities here in the golf shop as well. A Foresight launch monitor has been purchased and will be arriving in the next few weeks. We will now be able to get that new driver tuned in perfectly for your swing! Also a loft and lie machine will be available to check lofts and make adjustments when needed. Remember, for many of you who are traveling with golf clubs regularly, clubs can be bent and may need adjustments after being on planes. Most tour players have clubs checked after each time the clubs fly. This is also a great time to get your clubs re-gripped for the season. If you play golf once a week throughout the season you should have your grips changed once a year; if you play three times a week, you should have your grips cleaned or changed three times a year.
We are going to offer more clinics and emphasize practice throughout the year, focusing on training aids and new techniques. We are always here to help improve your game and make golf enjoyable for everyone!
The golf shop is here for all of your corporate needs as well. Always offering the best and most competitive pricing around, we can do shirts, balls, hats, tees…. you name it we can do it. If you are interested and have any corporate needs, please con-tact the golf shop staff and we will take care of you!

And as always, we are here to answer any golf related questions for you! Please do not hesitate to ask.
