Wow, what a great summer! Where did the time go? We hope that everyone enjoyed the regular golf season and we look forward to a great stretch of fall golf. We will continue to offer a Tuesday evening $5 game for a fall league until the weather turns.

Championship week was yet again a great success. Mrs. Veltkamp had a fantastic up and down to beat Mrs. Pilon in a playoff for the Women’s Club Championship and Chris Gates was our back-to-back Men’s Club Champion!  Please see below for the full results from championship week.

Do not forget to stop by the golf shop and check out the great fall sale and new releases from your favorite manufacturers. New products from Titleist and Nike will begin filtering in mid-to-late September and clothing will be updated on a regular basis.

We are extremely excited for the tee project to begin. The course will be transformed into a more modern work with the addition of some much needed forward tees and the renovations and additions to both the regular men’s and women’s tee boxes. It is amazing what a few tweaks here and there can do to a golf course. We will be having the course re-measured for slope and course rating as well as updating scorecards so watch for these changes come next spring.

Once again we hope that everyone enjoyed the action packed tournament schedule here at Gull Lake Country Club and look forward to next year’s events!
