Dear Members,
First and foremost I would like to thank all of the members for the warm welcome to the club. I have had a chance to meet many of the members already and I will continue to introduce myself around the club to get to know everyone. The first few weeks have seemed to race past as we have had perfect weather for golf, several events and league days and nights that have seen everyone excited about golf. I'm extremely excited to be a party of GLCC and wanted to let you know that I haven't been around as much due to some prior tournament commitments. Everything will be over by July 1st and you will be seeing me around a lot more.
As the golf shop is turning hands, I am getting new orders placed and hope to see the shop filling very soon. If there is anything that anyone needs in the meantime please let us know and we can get special orders placed and arriving very soon. The concentration of both the men's and women's product lines will appeal to all golfer types as well as lifestyle lines for the lake. We will have accounts with most vendors so if there is anything that is needed please don't hesitate to ask the professional staff.
With the Men's Invitational wrapping up on June 18th, we saw some beautiful weather for golf on Friday and Saturday to go along with great food, and good times had by all. Winning this year's Invitational were Jack Wallner and his guest Bart Osborn with an impressive par on hole #18 in the shoot-out to clench the victory. Congratulations to Mr. Wallner & Mrs. Osborn!
