FROM THE PRESIDENT & THE MANAGER

Chef Adam has accepted a new job, he will be the new Executive Chef at Kalamazoo Country Club. We thank Chef Adam for the great years of service that he has provided. We appreciate his dedication and leadership to GLCC and wish him the best of luck in the future. Chef Joe Sedore will be stepping in as Interim Executive Chef while we continue the interview process.

We want to thank everyone for taking the time to complete the recent survey. We enjoyed reading all of your responses. They will be very helpful in narrowing down options for this improvement plan. The Strategic Planning Committee and your board of directors have reviewed the survey responses. We are currently in discussions on developing conceptual drawings in order to receive bids and review options to determine the best path to take for the future of your club. We will keep you updated as we draw closer to making final decisions on these exciting future projects for your club.

The 2018 Family Fun Guide will be emailed out within the next few weeks! This guide will include details within every department of all events and programming activities that the club offers on an annual basis. This is a great tool for you and your family to use when planning out your summer and various activities so you are able to enjoy all that the club has to offer.

This year we are offering a 12-month trial membership program for prospective members. Please let us know of anyone who may be interested in a membership and we can provide them with the necessary information regarding Gull Lake Country Club.

Our weekly Blue Plate specials and new menu items continue to be a huge hit in the Boat Bar! Make sure to check the bi-weekly emails on Tuesday and Friday so that you don’t miss out. Also, please let us know if you are not receiving these emails so that we can get you added to our database.

We hope to see you around the club over the next few months and encourage you to take advantage of all of the different events and dining opportunities. Please keep your comments and suggestions coming and thank you for being a member here at GLCC!
